Sewing Shows 2017
2-5 March 2017
Head over to the Washington State Fair in Puyallup March 2 to March 5, 2017 for the fun and educational Sewing & Stitchery Expo.
You can park for free and explore vendor shopping across all 4 days, as well as immerse yourself in over 100 seminars per day and various special events to boot.
You can even stop by the Showplex and customize a bandana for your favorite pet…

The Hyatt Place Detroit/Novi in Novi is home to the American Sewing Expo from February 10 to February 12, 2017. As one of the largest independent sewing trade shows in the USA, you can enjoy 3 whole days of sewing heaven.
With thousands of eager sewers showing up every year, you’ll be surrounded by others who love sewing just as much as you do.
Whether you want to shop till you drop, attend classes or watch demonstrations, this event offers it all and more. You can even enter contests and win give-a-ways, as well as discover products including needle arts, home decoration, quilting, fashion sewing and fiber arts.
Described as the ‘Disney World’ of sewing conferences, ASE offers three different types of classes, including workshops, hands-on classes and lecture classes.
There’s also fashion shows throughout the expo and free demonstration stages to peek in on.
Sewing expos don’t come any better than the Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival. Hosted in various locations around the Southwestern United States — and in Puyallup, Washington, you can attend as many shows as you like.
In addition to the many workshops and free educational seminars, you can find hundreds of vendors, supply exhibits and new products.

Another of our recommended sewing shows 2017 has to be the Northwest Quilting Expo at the Portland Expo Center in Portland, Oregon.
It’s well-known for being Portland’s original sewing expo, hosting a wonderful array of special exhibits, quality companies, professional instructors and more.
If you think you’ve got a talent for quilting, you can also enter your best quilt to be in with the chance of winning a prize of up to $2,000. Want to attend? Save a space on your calendar for September 28, 29 or 30, 2017.
This is their 17th annual show, so you can expect a slick, professional and fun-filled event.

Beaver Dam, WI

You can do more than just shop at Nancy’s Notions warehouse and retail store in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Take a trip to one of the most beautiful Midwestern north farm states and visit Nancy’s Notions for a sewing weekend on May 4, 5 and 6.
You’ll find leading designers and instructors including Weeks Ringle and Amy Ellis, as well as America’s number 1 sewing educator, Nancy Zieman.
If you like the sound of learning various sewing and quilting techniques from the best of the best, then this is the sewing expo for you. Furthermore, you can have fun shopping and make friends with fellow sewers of all abilities and ages.
7-9 September 2017
The main lady is back again. Grab this fantastic opportunity to see Nancy Zieman at the Alliant Energy Center Exhibitions Hall in Madison, Wisconsin from September 7 to 9, 2017.
You’ll also get the chance to learn from leading quilting masters and browse quilt exhibits including the quilt contest entries from national, regional and local quilters.
Presented by Wisconsin Public Television, Quilt Expo is a popular sewing conference among experienced and beginner quilters. There are also more than 20 stage presentations for your enjoyment throughout the event, and you can even pre-schedule an appointment for a quilt appraisal.

Otherwise known as the American Sewing Guild Annual Conference, the ASG Annual Conference is a premier event for all sewers.
This year’s sewing conference will be held from July 27 to July 31, offering seminars and lectures in two-day, all-day, half-day, two-hour and 90-minute formats. You can also take part in workshops and classes, which are all tailored to suit your sewing ability.
Located in the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Hotel in Orlando, Florida, you can join over 1,000 other show-goers with a passion for all things sewing. The ASG Annual Conference 2017 will showcase leading exhibitors and a huge range of services and products related to quilting, sewing and stitch.
